MY HISTORY
I was born on April 7, 1966, in Lamego, Portugal and from an early age, music surrounded my world. Grandson of a self-taught musician, I fondly remember the musical evenings with the family around my grandfather's pianola.
I began studying solfeggio, with the priests of the order of St. Francisco Xavier, when I was 15 years old.
I continued my training in Musical Theory and Piano, a year later, at the Conservatório Regional D. Dinis in Loures, having, after some time, joined the Choir of Santo António dos Cavaleiros, as Tenor, under the direction of Maestro José Rocha.
At the age of 19, I joined the Teatro Nacional de São Carlos, in vocal education classes, under the guidance of the Mexican Professor and Conductor Amador Cortés Medina, with whom I worked for several years.
Continuing to invest in my musical career, in 2001, I attended a singing "Master Class" held by the Escola Profissional de Música de Almada, with Maestro and Professor Helmut Lips.
In 2002 I participated in Gregorian Chant workshops, in Évora, organized by the music school of the Cathedral of Évora and, during that year, I took classes on Improving Lyric Singing with Soprano and Professor Anabela Duarte.
In 2003, I joined the Portuguese Police Symphonic Band, when invited by Deputy Ernesto Esteves, the main conductor at the time, where I remain as a solo singer.

From my vast experience as an opera singer, the following places stand out, where I performed fantastic concerts:

- Beatriz Costa Auditorium (Mafra)
- Casa do Alentejo Auditorium
- Ramo Grande Auditorium (Azores - Praia da Vitória)
- Municipal Auditorium of Gijón (Asturias)
- Maria Matos Theater (Lisbon)
- Algés Municipal Theater
- S. Luís Theater (Lisbon)
- Trindade Theater (Lisbon)

Here are some of the participations I was involved in:

- Betthoven's 9th Symphony, with the Choir of the São Carlos National Theater, at the Jerónimos Monastery
- Shows in the city of Almada, during "Music Month"
- Member of the founding cast of the opera restaurant "Bianca Fiore"
- Special participation in the show "Before and After", at Teatro da Trindade (Lisbon)
- Performances as an integral part of "The World's Classics"
- Promotion of the opera, through the "Opera at the School" project

As a soloist in the Police Symphonic Band, the following concerts stand out:

- Casa da Música (Porto)
- Camões Theater (Lisbon)
- Bragança Municipal Theater
- Aveiro Municipal Theater
- Portimão Municipal Theater
- Luísa Todi Theater (Setúbal)
- Garcia de Resende Theater (Évora)
- Belém Cultural Center (Lisbon)
- Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (Lisbon)

In 2002, the Hotel Vila Galé Ópera opened in Lisbon, where I was invited to perform at its opening. From that moment on, my partnership with him emerged, where I perform every Saturday, from 8:30 pm.

Now that you know a little about my artistic journey, let yourself be enchanted by my interpretations.
